Wildlife Society members benefit from the networking opportunities provided all year round through our more than 25 working groups. Working groups are encouraged to hold meetings or networking receptions during the conference to provide professionals and students with the opportunity to exchange information, ideas and contact information.
Although most conference functions (Plenary and concurrent sessions, tradeshow, registration, etc.) will be held at the RBC Convention Centre, most Working Group Meetings and Networking Receptions will be held at the Delta Hotel, the host hotel which is connected to the Convention Centre. All meeting rooms will be set up in classroom style (rows of tables with chairs) while networking reception rooms will be set up in reception style (scattered tables with chairs).
There is no charge to you for the use of the room or meeting space, but you will be responsible for ordering and paying for any audio-visual, food, and/or beverage that you may need for your function. No outside food or beverage is allowed at the Delta Hotel. All food and beverage must be ordered through their in-house catering department. You will receive instructions on how to order food, beverage and audio-visual equipment along with your confirmation of space/date/time.
We will do our best to avoid scheduling conflicts. To request space for a day-long or multi-day event, please outline your needs on the request form and we will contact you for more details.
Rooms are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out of space, so don’t delay!
