embracing innovation

At The Wildlife Society’s 32nd Annual Conference, we’re embracing innovation that enhances individual engagement while creating a shared space where networking and distraction-free learning can happen simultaneously. This year, during a few featured session tracks each day, we’re proud to introduce Quiet Conference Technology—a cutting-edge solution designed to elevate your conference experience.

What Is Quiet Conference Technology?

Quiet Conference Technology uses wireless headsets to deliver crystal-clear audio from the presenter directly to attendees. Each attendee will be able to tune in to one of three sessions running simultaneously from the comfort of their seats. Don’t feel like sitting? That’s fine. Feel free to move around the room. You’ll continue to hear every word—without the distractions.

Why It Matters

Flexibility

Tune in or tune out as you need to. Take a break without leaving the room. Network without disturbing presentations.

Enhanced Accessibility

The over ear design and noise isolation allows all attendees to adjust the volume to their individual comfortable level.

Focused Engagement

Stay immersed in the content no matter where you are in the room or what’s happening around you.

How It Works

All concurrent sessions in Hall D of the Edmonton Convention Centre will feature Quiet Conference Technology. As you enter the hall, simply pick up a headset at designated station and tune into the session of your choice. With multiple channels available, you can switch between presentations seamlessly—no need to switch headsets, relocate or miss out. Each headset is thoroughly cleaned between each use.

Are you ready to experience Quiet Conference Technology?

We sure are! Help us explore the utility of this thoughtful conference innovation at TWS2025. We hope you find that it creates a more inclusive and engaging environment for all attendees.
