Bureau of Land Management

The Bureau of Land  Management’s mission is to sustain the health, diversity, and productivity of the public lands for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations. The BLM administers nearly 250 million acres of public lands in the United States,  constituting one-eighth of the landmass of the country.

As a Strategic Partner of TWS, the Bureau of Land Management is the proud sponsor of the Partner web page which provides more information and BLM career opportunities. The BLM also supports our Annual Conference, offering special sessions such as “Careers with the Bureau of Land Management,” as well as TWS publications and communication channels. Through contributed content to The Wildlife Professional and wildlife.org, the BLM is able to share its wildlife management program initiatives and insights with TWS members and thousands of social media followers.
