Welcome to the 2025 TWS Conference in Alberta!
On behalf of the Alberta Chapter of The Wildlife Society (ACTWS), we are honored to host the 2025 TWS Conference in our beautiful province. Alberta’s diverse landscapes, from prairies to boreal forests to the majestic Rockies, make it a special place for wildlife and conservation, and we are thrilled to share it with colleagues, students, and wildlife enthusiasts from across the world.
This conference is an opportunity to celebrate science-based conservation, foster connections, and explore innovative solutions for wildlife management. We hope your time here is both enriching and inspiring.
ACTWS Booth at the Conference
Be sure to stop by the Alberta Chapter & Canadian Section booth! We’ll be selling 50/50 tickets and promoting the Canadian Experience Auction, organized by the provincial TWS chapters and the Canadian Section of TWS. The auction raises funds to support student scholarships, travel grants to conferences, professional development opportunities, and presentation awards. These resources help students build essential skills, present their research on national and international stages, and develop critical networks that launch lasting careers.
This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet local TWS members and learn about our programs. Please stop by—we’d love to meet you!
Things We’d Like You to Know:
- Networking and knowledge-sharing are at the heart of TWS. Please take advantage of every opportunity to connect with colleagues.
- This conference is also your chance to experience Alberta’s wildlife, ecosystems, and culture firsthand, please take the time to explore beyond the sessions.
