Once pre-registration closes, the birding begins! New this year, we’re ramping things up early to get you ready for a one-of-a-kind keynote event that will have you looking at migratory birds through a whole new lens.
The top birder (and one randomly selected participant) will receive a pair of Vortex binoculars after the keynote presentation — Must be present to win. Keep an eye out for TWS Community-led birding walks in Edmonton. Connect with nature and each other at TWS2025. We will post dates and times to the schedule.

To participate in the TWS2025 Community Birding Challenge, download the free Birda app (available for iOS and Android). Follow The Wildlife Society on Birda so we may invite you to our private challenge. Once you’ve joined the challenge, start logging your bird sightings during the challenge period. Join community-led birding walks in Edmonton. Attend the keynote event at TWS2025. Read the Birding Challenge Rules for more information.
