In general, meals are not included as part of The Wildlife Society’s Annual Conference. There will be daily coffee breaks and some events will offer light fare. When food is provided, we will do our best to indicate that below.
Each day, the conference will break from noon to 1:30 pm for lunch and generally again after 5 pm for dinner before evening receptions. There are numerous places to eat within a couple blocks of the conference and abundant options around town.
Edmonton’s food scene is also incredibly diverse, thanks to its multicultural population. You’ll find everything from Vietnamese pho to Ethiopian injera, making the city a true culinary mosaic. Some must have staples, though, are bison burgers, green onion cakes, donairs and perogies.
