The Wildlife Society’s Annual Student

Quiz Bowl

The Quiz Bowl (a wildlife version of Jeopardy) is a fun and exciting tournament during which colleges/universities compete in wildlife trivia. Teams compete head-to-head to gain points by answering questions relevant to wildlife and natural resource management. As competitors are whittled out of the tournament, two finalist emerge as the best of the best, and face off in a can’t-miss championship!

Registration will OPEN on May 15th at 12 p.m. EDT. The competition will be limited to 16 teams this year, so registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis. After the first 16 teams have registered, we will maintain an alternates list to compensate for cancellations. Registration will close no later than September 5th at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Be sure to register early to secure your place in the competition!

The coordinating committee will communicate frequently with registered teams as the conference dates approach. Early registration is encouraged, and there tend to be a few hints in messaging sent to teams throughout the summer. If for any reason your team does not receive an acknowledgement of your registration within ten days, we request that you contact the coordinators once again.

To register, please click on the “REGISTER” button above to send an email to QuizBowl@wildlife.org, and provide the following information:

  1. The name of your university/college or student chapter of TWS
  2. The name and email address of your team coordinator. IMPORTANT: Ensure that this individual will receive and respond to e-mails throughout the summer. This can be an advisor; it does not need to be a competitor.
