As a participant or as a member of the audience, you’ll have fun testing your expertise in wildlife trivia at the 21st annual student Quiz Bowl in Cleveland!

Calling all wildlife undergraduates!

Are you and your classmates getting ready for the Quiz Bowl in Cleveland? Registration opens Tuesday, May 1, and closes at 11:59 p.m. EDT on Friday, Sept. 14. Registrations submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Quiz Bowl is a fast-paced wildlife knowledge competition between teams of four undergraduates (including an alternate, five students can be on a team). It pitches teams against each other to see who can rack up the most points answering questions ranging from taxonomy to wildlife management. The winning team gets its name emblazoned on a plaque that hangs at TWS headquarters and also receives a plaque to display at its school.

Quiz Bowl will span three afternoons this year (no late evenings!) from Monday-Wednesday. The bulk of the competition will take place during preliminary rounds on Monday and Tuesday afternoon in Ballroom AB at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. The final four matches will begin on Wednesday at 2 p.m. (subject to change) with the final two matches taking place at 5 p.m. Come join us and cheer for your alma mater or your favorite team!

Minor changes to question topics are being implemented in 2018; no new topics have been added, we’ve just changed the topic distribution.
